tension release & nervous system regulation aren’t the end goal
ITS THE ENTRY POINT
MEET BARBORA,
FaceUp Method™ and Biofield Tuning practitioner
based on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, Australia
her work is shaped by a deep curiosity about the relationship between the body, sound, stress, tension, and the way we experience ourselves.
alongside her FaceUp Method & Biofield Tuning training,
Barbora has explored quantum biology, functional breathing, anatomy, and nervous system regulation, bringing together modern science and holistic approaches to wellbeing
her journey into this work began when her own body became her greatest teacher, sending signals she could no longer ignore
what started as a personal search became a deeper exploration of the body’s intelligence, the patterns we hold, and our ability to reconnect with balance, vitality, and OUR OWN SPARK
WHY CASA BABA EXISTS
we don't have a tension problem
we have a misunderstanding of tension
we've learnt to see tension, pain or discomfort as something to get rid of - numb it with pills, inject it, or just ignore it
anything really except listen to it.
but what if these sensations are not the problem?
what if they are really just signals?
that question changed the course of my life, not because i found the answer overnight, but because i realised i had been asking the wrong question
-
for a long time, i believed my body was something that needed fixing or managing.
when i developed an autoimmune condition as a teenager, i did what so many of us do. i searched for the right doctor, the right diet, the right supplement, the right routine - the next explanation that would finally make everything make sense.
and yes, every answer helped, but none of them felt complete.
the more i learnt, the more i realised something was missing.
we often treat the symptom without asking why the body created it in the first place.
-
that question led me in many different directions.
i explored and studied anatomy, quantum biology, breathing, the nervous system.
Biofield Tuning taught me to listen in a way i hadn't before - not just to symptoms, but to patterns the body holds.
- to the ways our experiences can shape our physiology
- to the ways our bodies adapt in order to keep us going
and then another question appeared…
if the body adapts to our lives...what does that look like?
-
i started paying attention to the women around me and myself.
the migraines
the headaches
the jaw that never seemed to unclench
the forehead that always felt tight
the shoulders that slowly crept towards the ears
none of it felt random to me.
it wasn't just stress - it was the way we breathed, the way we sat, trained, worked, rushed.
just the way we held ourselves through life.
i don't believe most women need another thing to fix.
i think they're exhausted from believing they do.
working harder.
trying harder.
holding more.
smiling anyway.
wondering why they still don't feel like themselves.
we call it stress.
ageing.
burnout.
i think it's often a body that's been carrying too much for too long.
our habits were shaping our bodies and our bodies were shaping our faces.
that's when facial work became another piece of the puzzle
-
because your face isn't separate from the rest of you, it's where your inner world meets the outer one.
it's where years of habits, tension, emotion and adaptation silently leave their mark.
i don’t believe beauty begins with smoother skin or changing what we see on the surface.
i believe beauty begins with how we feel within ourselves - when the body softens, tension releases, and our natural expression has space to emerge.
for too long, beauty has been shaped around the idea that we need to fix, hide, or fight the signs of being human.
many quick fixes are built on the fear of ageing and the feeling that we are never quite enough as we are.
by understanding how tension, habits, and the way we hold ourselves shape our features, we can support the body rather than fight against it - allowing our natural structure, movement, and vitality to shine over time.
